Carsten Wilmsen is a civil engineer and Senior Vice President Corporate Real Estate at Beiersdorf AG. After various professional positions in consulting and the aviation business—including roles as Head of Real Estate at Hamburg and Munich airports, as well as Head of Engineering and Construction at Berlin Airport—he returned to Hamburg in 2020. Following his role as Technical Managing Director of Deutsche Seereederei, along with associated development responsibilities for hospitality projects, he now leads the transformation of the real estate business at Beiersdorf AG together with his Corporate Real Estate team. In line with his professional guiding principle, “…towards outstanding performance,” he drives continuous improvement in real estate performance across all lifecycle phases of the property portfolio, effectively supporting the company’s core consumer business.
