David Heron

David Heron is Founder and CEO of IDC Solutions, providing Products and Services to Real Estate Developers and the extended design and construction eco-system in the area of Industrialized Design and Construction, including DfMA and Modern Methods of Construction.
Prior to establishing IDC Solutions, David worked with Accenture delivering Technology solutions to the Hi-Tech and Communications industries before joining a technology start-up during the early days of the internet.
After completion of his MBA, he joined the building materials company Holcim, where he took on a variety of roles including strategy development in China, post-merger integration in Europe and ultimately head of strategy development for LafargeHolcim.
After leaving Holcim, he started his first company advising European Real Estate Developers on offsite manufacturing.  He then joined NEOM in Saudi Arabia where he was Head of Industrialized Design & Construction.  In this role he led the development of capabilities in Customer Insight for real estate developers, Computational Design and Configuration of buildings, Real Estate Productization, MMC Supply Chain development and Kit-of-parts Development.
David is Swiss/British, speaks English, French and German and currently lives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
