Dr. Jan Wenker

Dr. Jan Wenker studied wood science and technology at the University of Hamburg (B. Sc. and M. Sc.). After completing his doctorate at the Technical University of Munich, where he investigated the life cycle assessment of complex wood products, he began working at Brüninghoff in 2017 as a project manager for research, development, and innovation. In this role, he focused on developing systems for intelligent hybrid construction. Since 2022, he has been Head of the Sustainability & Innovation department at Brüninghoff. In early 2024, he was appointed Group Director Sustainability & Innovation.
