Frank Hermanns is Managing Director of the operational arm of the Smart Building Innovation Foundation - SBIF. As an architect by training, he has been working on innovation and digitalisation in the construction and real estate industry for more than 20 years. His current focus is on application-orientated research in the field of ecologically, economically and socially sustainable solutions. The SBIF faces the challenges of the industry together with business and science and develops blueprints for evaluated, practical and economical solutions beyond everyday project work.
