Gabriele Willems

Gabriele Willems is Managing Director of Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb Nordrhein-Westfalen (BLB NRW), the largest public construction and real estate management organization in the state of North Rhine–Westphalia. In this key role, which she has held since 2015, she is primarily responsible for the technical portfolio and the strategic direction of BLB NRW and plays a decisive role in the realization of complex construction and real estate projects in the public sector. 

Prior to joining BLB NRW, Gabriele held senior management positions in the construction industry, including roles at HOCHTIEF Construction and HOCHTIEF Solutions, where she was responsible for strategy, corporate development, and key account management. 

As an experienced civil engineer with in-depth industry expertise, Gabriele Willems is committed to innovative, sustainable, and efficient construction processes—ranging from digital planning and resource-efficient building to the successful management and operation of construction and real estate assets.
