Since 2020, Rebecca Waerder has been working at Heidelberg Materials - one of the largest building materials companies in the world. As project manager, she is responsible for the implementation of company's sustainability strategy in Germany and supports the market launch of resource-saving and low-carbon products. In her role, she also advises architects, building owners and planners on the use of sustainable building materials, currently focussing in particular on the world's first carbon-captured net-zero cement, evoZero.
